Laura Garling
Owner and Pilates Instructor
Laura has been interested in an active lifestyle since she was a child. She grew up swimming, dancing, running, playing tennis and hiking, and taught yoga on and off for years before becoming more focused on Pilates. In 2010, she became a BASI (Body Arts and Sciences) trained Pilates instructor. Laura is interested in the therapeutic benefits of Pilates, and values Pilates for the way it makes people feel better in their bodies.
Diane Wheatley
Pilates & Yoga Certified instructor
I have been teaching movement for over 25 years (from the early days of the Jane Fonda Workout!) I was introduced to Pilates at my local gym and was totally hooked. I continued to practice and study and in the mid ’90’s met Dallas based Physical Therapist, Karen Sanzo. Karen had incorporated Pilates into her PT practice for many years and I began to study with her gaining my Pilates Unlimited Full Equipment and Mat Certification. During that time I also began to study yoga with teacher/trainer Karen Prior (500 hr Samatva Yoga RYT) My training sessions focus on the bodies I see in front of me and my years of experience and training allow me incorporate many different modalities into the class. If a Pilates exercise can’t give the student what we’re looking for - there’s always another way.
V Shelton

V is a fully certified instructor of Pilates and yoga with over twenty-five years of training and experience. She has worked with professional athletes, golfers, equestrians and also with those who simply want to feel better in their bodies. Her classes and one-on-one sessions are designed for all ages and for fitness levels from beginners to the advanced. For the past thirteen years, V has been teaching at a physical therapy clinic and Pilates studio in the San Francisco Bay Area. There she collaborated with physical therapists on fitness plans so patients could recover more quickly from injuries and illness. V also has adaptive and therapeutic experience working with the elderly.
V loves to help people develop more strength (including core strength) and greater range of motion; improve their flexibility, agility, balance, and coordination; keep their backs strong and healthy; and learn to move with more strength, grace, awareness and ease. "I truly do enjoy the process of inspiring others to reach a more vibrant level of health and well-being through Pilates and movement!"
Sarah carson
Pilates Certified instructor
Sarah has always lived an active lifestyle. She began ballet at age three and continued dance and gymnastics through high school. In her late 20’s she discovered a passion for aerial arts, studying at SANCA in Seattle. Not long after, she injured her hip and needed surgery and several rounds of physical therapy to keep her on her feet and pain- free. It was during her physical therapy sessions that she realized that she could heal, and that her chronic pain could be omitted through an exercise program meant to balance her body.
Sarah decided that training in Pilates would be a great way to combine her passions of fitness and rehabilitation. She wanted to have a career doing something she truly believed in. And having seen Pilates help people heal and get back to their optimum health, she knew this would be a good fit.
Sarah is a BASI (Body Arts and Science International) trained Pilates instructor, having completed her education in 2024. She loves working with people of all ages and abilities. She wants to help people live their best and healthiest lives, and believes that Pilates is a great way for most to reach their fitness goals. Sarahcarsonpilates@gmail.com
